Families can now browse camps and community ed classes from their home school and nearby schools, all from a new Discover page in the family portal.
What families can do
- Browse nearby listings. Discover shows camps and community ed classes within a set number of miles of the family's home school. Families can filter by type, sport or activity, grade, number of days, T-shirt included, and price.
- Register several people at once. Families tick each family member, pick an option for each one, and add them all to the cart in one step.
- Fill in details in one pass. Each school's required questions are listed together, and answers the family has given before are filled in.
- Pay each school separately. Each school has its own cart, and each payment goes directly to that school.
- Come back later. Unpaid carts stay on the family's account. A banner on the Registrations page links back to them.
What schools need to do
Nothing. Public camps and community ed classes that are open for registration show up in Discover for nearby families.
