We are excited to announce an improved version to our transportation platform which centers around fleet management for schools. These improvements are designed to streamline how schools organize, track and report on their transportation trips and resources.
What’s New?
Driver Profiles:
Schools can now create and manage a full directory of their transportation drivers.
Each driver profile will include:
- Basic personal information
- Highest license held
- License expiration tracking
Vehicle Management:
Easily monitor every vehicle in your fleet with detailed records that include:
- Basic vehicle information
- Distinguishability between 9 vehicle types
- Additional fields for capturing vehicle data
- Quick vehicle entry using the duplicate vehicle button which auto-fulls non-unique fields to speed up data entry
Shared Features Across Drivers & Vehicles
Both the driver and vehicle pages include:
- Advanced filtering by variable and column-specific sorting
- Full export capabilities for your entire fleet or any filtered subset
Transportation Trip Enhancements:
We’ve added powerful trip-planning functionality to improve scheduling and accuracy:
- Assign driver-vehicle pairs to specific trips (e.g., Bus Driver A is assigned to Bus 1 for softball game)
- When trip planning, get notified if a driver or vehicle is already scheduled for another trip on the same day
- Add private administrative notes to trips, allowing for internal-only communication and context
Reporting and Filtering:
- Once driver vehicle pairs are assigned, driver and vehicle details are accessible for reporting, exporting, and printing
- Trip distance (miles), travel time, and administrative notes are all options to be included into reports
