It would be helpful to have the ability to add a waitlist when a class reaches capacity. This would allow us to collect contact information and payment details from participants who are interested in the class but were unable to register because it was full.

A waitlist would be useful for:

-Gauging the demand and popularity of a class

-Determining whether a second session should be added

-Contacting the next participant when someone drops out of the class

-Moving a waitlisted participant directly into the active roster when a spot becomes available

Ideally, the system would keep the waitlist in order (first come, first serve) and allow us to easily see who is next. When a participant cancels, we can contact the next person on the list and move them into the active roster without having to manually recreate their registration.

This would make managing full classes much easier while also providing us with valuable information to plan future sessions.
