Calendar Feeds and Widgets

Can all of the state events be added to the Bound calendar? This would help both the Arts and Athletic departments in setting their schedules/calendars for the year.

When an end user subscribes to our Bound Calendar using Google Calendar, the event on Google Calendar is not updated when the event on the Bound calendar is changed (postponed, for example). For example, right now, we have an 8th grade Boys basketball game hosted at home that has been postponed for several weeks. I have subscribed to our Bound calendar in my Google Calendar. The same event in my Google calendar does not show that it has been postponed. If I click on the event in my Google Calendar, it also does not show that it has been postponed. Clearing my browser cache, or viewing the Google Calendar app on an iOS or Android device also yield the same results... the postponement is not visible and it appears the game is still occuring.

As we add more and more Districts into our system where we can manage things at this level, I have had some districts asking for the ability to just create one feed at this level that would be used for a district-wide calendar. This wouldn't override the school's ability to create individual school feeds for internal use, just create a more global option at the district level that could eliminate the need to generate and combine a dozen(+) individual feeds.

It would be helpful to be able to search the calendar for key terms. This would be especially helpful when something wasn't tagged correctly or at all. Similar to a word search in documents. Would make it much easier to find all 5/6th basketball practices when while I did think I tagged the teams, it didn't seem to register that I had.

Add a search option on the public calendar.
