Transportation

People want to add some formatting, be able to add spaces after a statement etc.

It would be good to have a feature where someone could request transportation for an event that doesn't necessarily need to be on the calendar. Let's say the SPED director is going to an out of town meeting and needs a vehicle. They could request it and have it tracked in the transportation area.

Have the option to show/print the transportation report in a calendar format not just a list format.

When a transportation trip gets added to an event, it would be great if this would write back to the program page and a Transportation option show under the Program/Team menu where they can access a report with their transportation information there at their fingertips, rather than having to dig into the event with several clicks.

TRANSPORTATION - I would love to see a "send to Transportation Director" button on each trip that would email the transportation director the event directly and potentially add to a trips page that only that director can access

Add a page dedicated to the transportation director very similar to our Payouts page that is available to finance directors. Only show trips that are available based on "send to Transportation Director" button in above idea.

We don't want the AD to have to manage this we want the Coach to have access to send the ride survey and to be able to access the results. Right now the only place to send the ride survey is from the events page - which the coach does not have access to. So that is a barrier. Then the only place to access the results is from the Events page - which again the coach does not have access to. More than just to and from and yes or no. Samples if not a free answer would be something like:" "Transportation will be provided by the family via a legally licensed driver" or "Our student has our permission to transport themselves to and from the event." I like the ability to add the note. when entering yes or no - so don't take that away. I would say it would also be nice to have the ability to add a link or document so that you can either put a link to a release form they must sign. OR Be able to put a copy of your transportation policy which would help with liability things The email sending out should also pull the event/competition details in. I would also like to verify who we are sending to. It says sending to everyone signed up for this program...but is that further defined by roster? That part is a little vauge. Pattern the send to page after the add a due payment page here..... just make sure it's easily assessable from the phone or app. So the ride survey report - would be great connected to team tools or a subheading page under that in the app. Aslo would be great to be able to schedule the survey to send at x time and date. Kind of like we can schedule a message from messenger. That way the coach or the AD could schedule the whole season with a default command or message. Either individual messages with the send time saved. OR Toggle on send X number of hours before the start time of the competition to the level assigned to that competition. So IE: could send to all JV Rostered players 24 or 36 hours before the JV Tip off at 6:00 . And will send to all Varsity Rostered players 24 or 36 hours before var tip off... of course this would be to away games only... so need to be able to filter to those in this set up. Just has to be easy to use and easy to access on the go by the coach as the primary user in my opionion. Thanks

This way I don't have to open a new "trip" window each time so I can look back at times/modes of transportations between similar trips. I'm thinking something that looks similar to activity registration where you see everything across one screen.

It would populate based on what you listed under vehicles and drivers in the grey navigational set up areas. Would just be more user friendly than having to start typing something to see your choices. But I like that you can just start typing too.. It's just not very intutitive that you type in that same spot to add a 2nd vehicle. They may want to add a bus and a van to the same trnasporation request.

Right now when an Event is changed it doesn't automatically send a notification to anyone assigned to get Transportation Notifications (such as a transportation director) because technically transportation doesn't change in our system. It would be great if we could add one little part to Transportation Notifications area. Right now anyone assigned in this area "Receives notification when transportation are added, updated, or deleted." I think we need to change this to be "Receive notification when an event changes that transportation is assigned to or when it is added, updated, or deleted." I also think when a game is canceled we need to automatically cancel the transportation for that event and send notifications.
