Officials

Being a veteran I have never paid dues for other associations. I would like to assist here due to official shortages but prefer not to pay when helping an association. Do you all waive fees?

When an official is scheduled to work at a Junior Varsity Volleyball event and I check that box on the contract to assign them, it shows that they are working from 5:30-7:00. They have always worked as line judges for the varsity match from 7:00-8:00 after their JV match as well. It was brought to my attention that there should be a place on the contract that could be checked to also assign them as a line judge for that varsity match. It was suggested that we add an additional line: 7:00-8:30 Varsity Volleyball Lines

Why can't I see my partner's contact information? How will we be able to communicate if there's no contact information?

Where are my contracts for next year? I have emails. But how do I see an event for that day? Changing the year doesn't help. No matter what year I choose it only shows me today. So how do I not double book for next year? I'm scheduling blind. If I have to keep a paper calendar, then what use is this platform? And where was I last week? Trying to get a log for my mileage but all of the past events are gone....so now I'm like, okay I was there last Tuesday and was it this other town on the Thursday before that?...RefView would let you see last year, next year, sort by sport, this week only, this month only. This platform is prettier than ref view but WAY less functional.

When getting a contract back. On the email show what sport it is without having to click on the "View Contract" right now this only tells me that it was accepted.

And I just got ANOTHER reminder. That's 6 reminders so far today. Not to mention the 6 from yesterday and the day before that. For the same event. Are you kidding me? Seriously though, if you were getting 12 reminders from your boss about the meeting on Thursday. But not just that, about EVERY meeting. It would be the thing everyone is talking about in the break room. Now how do you think a ref feels? I have so many reminder emails that I can't find emails that I actually need. Can you kindly get this under control?

Nobody communicates by Email anymore. I don’t know why you can’t have a text messaging feature. This is bizarre. Also notifications sent to Officials should include their exact assignment new email somebody it should just say here’s where you’re supposed to be the date and the time and this is your assignment you sent 4000 notices reminding people about their assignments and then they have to click and go to another location to see any details. It should all be included in a text message with the program. It’s not the 1990s.
