Messenger

It would be great if families and students could message their coaches directly on Messenger.

Sports Engine's app let's the coaches, players, and parents of individual teams communicate in one spot. It's great that I can send messages, but it would be much better with a "chat" style set up.

It would be really great if we push text messages out to families and they could reply to our texts. I know if I send a message via email and they reply it goes to my inbox. This would be helpful for text messages as well!

So we can add the AD, Admin Assistant, or anyone else that might also need the message

Adding Messenger to the Student Section, maybe right after documents, that allows administrators to send direct messages to that specific family when needed, such as for missing registration documents like physical forms, or if they need to go in and add the next sport they are participating in. Instead of sending a general email, administrators could send personalized text and email reminders directly from the student athlete's individual dashboard. This would ensure clear and direct communication to the parents, making it easier to complete the registration process.

How can I message my daughter's coach? I'm not getting any that is telling me about changes in the schedule

This website is ridiculous I follow directions and I can’t register my child for football!!!!! Whatever happened to a sign up sheet in the office?

So when you go back to the message here: https://manager.gobound.com/sd/schools/sfmemorialms/2024-25/programs/football/teams/h202406191036105920e03e456b03a42/notify/messages Click on the # so you can see who got it... You see the messgae...but there is no record of who sent that message. WE need to know - if we have questions - or what if they send questionable content - we need to know who sent it. It shows when... but not who. We know who got it - and we know that the sender is on the list of who got it... but we can't tell who was the sender.

As these state pass grooming laws etc we may want to remove the 2nd email collection point for student personal email. Depends on what the school has and what state they are in. But that seems to be a point that will be addressed by some of this legislation that is coming through in KS and WI to be sure.
